Sweet Potato Packing Specifications.

Manage entire sweet potato packing process:

1.  DELIVERY OF SWEET POTATO:
From your own farm or from other growers, Producepak guarantees maximum sweet potato traceability.  All incoming sweet potato is labeled and assigned a storage location (warehouse name).

OPTIONAL FIELD LABELING
Pre-print bin labels (or print them live in the field) and apply in field to ensure maximum traceability of sweet potato bins.

OPTIONAL HARVEST SCANNING
Optionally scan harvest tags in field, or in the packhouse.  Produce reports so you can pay your harvesters / contractors based on harvest activities, pay rates based on variety and team/harvester. 

2.  SWEET POTATO PACKING PROCESS:
Plan batches and scan bins into the batch to ensure maximum traceability during the sweet potato packing process.  Optionally add batch costs such as overheads, labor, packaging materials.  

3.  SWEET POTATO LABELING: 
For the finished product packed sweet potatoes, Producepak generates case, pallet, and retail unit labels automatically to match the specific sweet potato product being packed.  Optionally your sweet potato labels can contain a barcode or 
QR Code that allows your choice of traceability, marketing, or quality inspection information to be shared with your choice of customer or end consumer.  

4.  GRADING SWEET POTATO: 
After processing a batch easily store bins of graded sweet potato that can be packed in future batches, labels for these bins are automatically generated.  Producepak will track the outputs from each batch to ensure the grower gets paid for their fresh produce.

5.  PLANNING & MANAGEMENT OF CUSTOMER ORDERS:
Track customer orders, analyze packing requirements to plan batches.   Assign multiple orders to be shipping in a single trailer, specify the pickup & delivery times, transport company and reference #, and driver for each shipment.  

6.  PICKING ORDERS 
Rapidly pick sweet potato orders:  users are shown the order, where to find the correct sweet potato pallets / bins / totes etc, and can scan them onto the order.  For simpler operations you can print a pick list for the shipping team to use to ensure correct sweet potato is sent on every order.  Based on your own requirements, the app can demand F.I.F.O or allow users to add any pallet / bin to an order if the oldest pallet is too hard to reach.  

7.  AUTOMATIC B.O.L. AND INVOICE
Producepak generates B.O.L. and  invoices for each shipment; these can be programmed to emailed automatically for specific customers as required, or simply printed and physically sent with the shipment. 

8.  INSTANT SWEET POTATO RECALL, AUDITS, AND TRACEABILITY
Perform recalls of sweet potato both up and down the supply chain using batch number, supplier name, delivery date, customer PO number, storage area, and more.

10.  SWEET POTATO QUALITY INSPECTION
Perform rapid and consistent quality inspection of sweet potato from cell or tablet, take photos to help provide feedback to growers or negotiate better prices.  If a quality issue is detected specific management are instantly alerted and the quality officer (and packing mangers) are automatically sent corrective actions.  Optionally create daily sweet potato packhouse hygiene / cleaning checklists.  

11.  ANALYSIS OF SWEET POTATO YIELDS
