Sales
orders

Sales orders from customers are recorded here.  Orders let you specify which Parts and at what price & quantity the inventory will be sold.  Use the notes field for special customer requests such as packaging etc.

Orders
Record your customers sales Orders on this screen using + to add a new order, and use Production & Projections to schedule manufacture / packing of orders in a batch.

Note that an Order is not the same as the inventory on an invoice, an order is simply what the customer ASKED for, what you actually send them is the Inventory on the Invoice...   This means updating an order will not change the inventory you have already put its associated invoice.   To change inventory on an invoice, please use the Invoices screen.

ORDER DETAILS:
Customer Reference is the customers own Purchase Order number, and can be used for traceability and recalls.
Notes you write on the order will be visible to employees that pick the order during shipping processes.
If "Finished date" is filled in, the Order will be hidden from dispatch screens (remove date to reactivate this order and make visible on dispatch screens).
Deliver to: This is the company (and address) the order will be delivered to. Tap to enter a new customer company.
Bill to: This is the company that will pay for the goods. This can be different than the Deliver to company, for example, if you send goods to five Walmart warehouses, but send your invoices to head office, enter Walmart Head Office as a company, and then the five warehouses as separate companies (select Walmart Head Office as the "Parent company" on each of the warehouse companies).
Transport: The company that will deliver the goods. Select "Transport" to ON on your company if you do your own deliveries.
Transport reference: This is usually the reference provided by the transport company.
Delivery instruction: Any notes entered here will show to shipping teams.
Dispatch date: Date goods leave your warehouse.
Delivery date: Date goods are delivered to customer.
Currency: Tap to add and edit your currency list.
Sales employee: Sales person responsible for this order.
Order date: Date order was created.
Finished date: Date order was closed. Delete this value and set Closed to ON to make the order show on the Logistics screen.
Attach documents and images to an Order using the paperclip icon.

SETTING TRANSPORT DETAILS:
Select multiple Orders in the selection column, then tap "Transport details" to group Orders on the same shipment, fill in truck or trailer numbers / registration, and enter truck driver name and or company.

FINISHING ORDERS:
When an order is filled, it will be automatically "Finished".   If you can't fill an order, you can manually Finish it so it won't show as an active order to shipping teams.

SEARCHING ORDERS:
Search Orders using additional filters.   Turn the "Finished" filter to ON if you want to see finished orders.

Import orders:  Read about import formats here.  If your format isn't supported, ask your consultant for a new format.
