QuickBooks fresh produce inventory traceability
QuickBooks knows how much stock is worth. Traceability needs to know where each lot came from and where it went.

Key points
- Barcode scanning from receival to truck.
- Raw, washed, packed and palletised stock tracked separately.
- Case, consumer-unit and pallet labels generated automatically.
- Recalls up and down the chain in seconds.
Inventory states QuickBooks does not model
Produce changes form: raw bins become washed or sorted product, then packed cartons, then pallets. Each state needs its own record linked to the previous one. Producepak models these states and posts the financial movements to QuickBooks Online.
Farm-to-fork traceability
Barcode scanning at each step creates the chain. Crop examples: strawberry, potato and fresh-cut traceability.
